I never understood how the virus(?) could really spread. Like in every zombie film they never just take a bite and move on, they always go to town eating and it’s like, what’s left after that? Bones? How does a body with all its muscles and skin removed to turn into a zombie? Like from what we know about zombies or the idea of them, is that they have an unsatisfiable hunger and they eat anything they can and never feel full, so why would they take a few bites and move on? Obv sometimes people just get bit and are able to kill the zombie but the majority of metropolitan areas seem to just be good shirt zombies and I just don’t really believe it.

Growing up had some hills on the outskirt of a forest where my younger brother and I would play a lot. On one side of a hill there was a drop of about 5-6m(~15-20 feet) which had some spruce trees growing alongside the cliff. Our dumb asses decided it would be fun to jump out to those trees to chill... We would lay down across a couple of the branches and relax in between going from one tree to the next or swapping places by swinging the tree tops back and forth, and then stepping off to the next tree. We eventually stopped after I fell through when one of the branches snapped/my foot slid off to the side (can't really remember) as I was stepping over. Luckil. Since when are zombies portrayed as weak? Almost any depiction I can think of, from the shambling zombies of the '70s to the sprinting ones on the '00s, seem to have the strength of at least a living human but are usually stronger because they don't feel pain. This still doesn't make sense because they are literally decomposing, but zombies as a concept just don't really make sense. I mean we probably could if we didn't need oxygen and couldn't feel pain. Just dig until you run out of arm and bone.
